Since1993, Daytona has been alongside families as they make their goal of homeownership areality. Over the last three decades we have expanded into multiple cities, invested in numerous communities, and innovated our housing products to meet the evolving needs of homebuyers.

LED Lighting

  • LED lighting is used in all of our homes. They save homeowners approx. $448 annually on utility bills—allowing you to focus on what matters.

  • Lighting accounts for nearly 5% of global CO2 emissions, however, LED lighting is 50-70% more efficient than old technologies, allowing us to reduce the carbon footprint of our homes, leaving a better world for your family.

Carpet

  • The carpet we use in our homes is made from recycled plastic bottles. Each year, our Tacada builders save 2.2 million plastic bottles from entering landfills and oceans.

  • If you stacked these bottles on top of one another, it would span 462km–that's 6,600 hockey rinks!

Low-Flow Fixtures

  • Since 2020, our Tacada builders have saved 68 million litres of water by using low-flow toilets in our homes–the equivalent of 27 Olympic-sized swimming pools!

  • Worry less about water waste and more about having fun with your family.

Project Forest Partnership

  • We're committed to helping replenish the resources used to build our homes, because we want a healthy, thriving world to be handed down for generations to come.

  • We’re a proud member of Project Forest, supporting 9 hectares of the Cumberland House Cree Nation Food and Medicine Forest in Saskatchewan.

Community is built on connections

  • Every year, our team devotes hundreds of volunteer hours to give back to the communities we build in. It’s important to us that these communities support you and your family beyond the walls that we build.

  • We’ve raised over $1 million for The Edmonton Down Syndrome Society over the last 25 years
