HOCKEY HELPS THE HOMELESS EDMONTON

Team Tacada recently took part in the 12th annual Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament in Edmonton, raising over $25,000 in support of local organizations that help individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

We were proud to share the ice with our trade partners, and even more excited to have former Edmonton Oiler Ladislav Smid on the team for the day. More than anything, it was the way everyone showed up that defined the experience. Everyone came out ready to play and support a cause that deserves real attention.

Hockey Helps the Homeless hosts Pro-Am tournaments across Canada to raise funds for frontline organizations. What sets this tournament apart is that all net proceeds stay local. In Edmonton, this year's tournament supported The Mustard Seed, Kids Kottage, and Jasper Place Wellness Centre. These organizations provide essential services, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, crisis intervention, and long-term support programs.

It was a great day on the ice and a meaningful way to contribute to work that drives real change in our community. We're proud to have been involved and thankful to everyone who helped make it happen.
