2023 SPRING BREAKOUT FUNDRAISER

Daytona Homes Edmonton is proud to be a part of the family of builders under Tacada including Accent InfillsCarriage Signature Homes, and City Homes.
Together, this year, Tacada hosted its 25th annual Spring Breakout Fundraiser on May 6, 2023, in support of the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society (EDSS). The event was held at Fort Edmonton Park and was a huge success, raising an outstanding $92,226 for the EDSS – the most funds raised in a single year in the event’s history!

The proceeds from the fundraiser will support the ongoing efforts of EDSS to grow their Centre of Excellence dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome. The programs include professional services like speech language, occupational, and behaviour therapies, educational services such as literacy and numeracy, and recreational services including musical theatre, fitness, cooking, and other social programs.

This year’s success brings Tacada’s 25-year total to an incredible $1,075,650. This would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of staff, donors and partners to the cause of supporting individuals with Down syndrome.

Tacada would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees and contributors to the event. This positive difference made in the many lives that count on the EDSS is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our community.

We encourage everyone to share this message with their colleagues, family, and friends to raise awareness about the great work that EDSS is doing and to encourage further support for this important cause.

Tacada looks forward to hosting more successful events in the future, and together with its family of builders, continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.

Treaty Six Territory

We acknowledge that the land on which the Daytona Homes Edmonton office resides is on Treaty Six Territory–a traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route for many indigenous people. We honour and respect the history, languages, ceremonies and culture of the First Nations, Metis and Inuit who call this territory home.
